Hungry like a cow

i though id never say this...but really..I am just sick and tired of being hungry ALL the time. I mean this is gettin to be a chore...all this eating! ANd the heartburn...AGH!!! boo..hiss..grr! I love being preggy...I would just like to have a NORMAL appetite ..you know..three meals a day..! I feel like a cow..constantly grazing...get bigger by the day. Im down to ONE..count it ..ONE pair of jeans..I mean they are okay..compared to other maternity jeans ive come across..i like them..nice and comfy. Clay says i need to be content with what i have.. but i dont feel the least bit picky when ill i desire is to wear some different jeans every now and then. That brings me too another subject..shoes. If you know me..you now my love for a flashy pair of shoes..it can make an outfit you know. well, noone told me that along with getting a big ol belly..you apparently start to get big ole FEET. I have vowed since the beginning of this journey that i would NOT give in to comfy shoes...i WILL press on and wear my sassy stillettos and high-as-the-sky heels...but geez louezz! i can barely shove my porker feet in them.. So ..if you are one of the few people to happen to catch me sporting some less than snazzy shoes of my normal choice...just know...IT is JUST a season...I will be back and as shoetastic as ever as soon as i get this little punkin out ! well, ill be steppin off my soapbox for today. I cant be bubbly everyday, right? Im still just as giggly and excited about this little darling that i have poking my ribs and steppin on my blatter as i have ever been.! She must be pumping some iron or doing yoga in there because i can tell a big difference these last couple of days. She is getting pretty strong...she loves to keep me up at night doing her Riverdance routine or whatever she's doing in there! Oh yea..we have a new idea for a name ..suggested by my dear friends....Sarah Harper.. I love it. we may have a winner.. but the jury is still out!

whats in a name??

Ok ok! i know i been talking about "sarah kathryn" since clay and i starting dating... and now that i finally have the chance to use the name..we are getting cold feet.! I keep having dreams about having a little dark haired baby..and in my mind...sarah kathryn has never had dark hair.I know it sounds silly ...but really, i cant shake the doubt! We both love the name...but clay also really wants to use something that has to do with his mother's name. So people, we need your opinions! Stay with our tried and true " Sarah Kathryn" or go with the new pick of the moment " Reagan Harper' .? HELP!! baby girl needs a name!

i been reading all these books about babies n such... and i was telling clay that they say the baby can hear you while in the womb and you can acually start to teach her things...like stories and songs.. WELL ..clay doesnt want to pass up this early opportunity to let our little princess know exactly where we are from, what her favorite song should be, and what football team is going to be her favorite! So everynight or so..clay will get real close to my belly and say "baby, just want to let you know that your favorite thing in the whole world is going to be ole miss football!" then he sings "Dixie" to her. Thats his idea of the Perfect Lullaby. .."oh i wish i was in the land of cotten.......look away ..look away...look away..Dixieland" Bless our little southern belle's heart! But of course she loves it when her daddy sings to her...when I sing to her..i get a strong kick in the rib..as if to say "hey! keep it down out there! geez ! " ! i can already tell she is bound to be a daddy's girl!

So now that we know that we are going to have a little gal....i can start painting and decorating her room! The other night Clay and i were sitting in the room and he says with the most serious face..we need to talk about her room. I said i wanted to do bright fun colors..kindy funky stuff.. Clay looks around the room and says..."no..not for my little girl..I want it to be like "heaven"..! (it was SOO funny to hear that come from his mouth..i fell over) . He says.."no I'm serious...You know how you see little girls rooms and you just think of Fluffy heaven?..thats how i want it." So since Clay is so excited about this "fluffy heaven".. Im going to make her room as heavenly as possible!

clay gets a shocker

Hey everyone!! Well i tried to tell yall it was a girl!! i was giggly and nervous the whole way to the doctor. I couldnt wait to find out. And when they told me it was a girl, i looked over at clay...his face had gone pale and his mouth was open... he looked very scared. he didnt say much the rest of the ultrasound. When we were waiting to see my doctor..and he just kept saying..we're having a girl..We're having a girl." He said his dreams all had to change at that moment. He was really hoping for a future rebel football player..but now he says he will settle for a Rebelette chearleader! After those few min.of shock ..he is back on full on Daddy patrol! He said, " just think tracy, there is a baby boy out there right now who is just waiting for a beating from me one day if he gets anywhere near my baby girl!". i know he is going to be the best daddy any gal could ask for...but i really feel sorry for any boy who wants to date her one day. Poor girl...not a chance.
But ive got news for clay..if she's anything like me, clay has something else coming for him. Im sure he'll be so wrapped around her little fingers..he will only THINK he in is control! I cant wait to put a bow the size of her head on her and to paint her tiny fingernails.. its never too early for fashion sense.Im sure clay will make the perfect tea party guest!

IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!

Its a GIRL!!

Today we found out what we are having. It was an unbelievable day for us. I had never seen the baby move around and everything since I wasn't in Jackson for the last sonogram. This was truly an amazing moment seeing our baby moving around in Tracys belly. As for the Gender of the child.. ITS a GIRL!! Now I know all of you guys are thinking, wow...what am I going to do with a girl. Well, I dont know. I do know that she will not be loved more by anyone else in the whole world than her Daddy. I pitty any young man in about 15 years. The best advice yet was from Justin, as he suggests Patience will be the hardest part for me. I am not a patient person, so we'll have to work on that. Tracy is thrilled, what better for Tracy than a little Girl that she can love and be a wonderful mother to. I am so happy for her because I know how much she wanted a baby girl. I just look forward to the moment that we can hold her and tell her how much we love her. Tracy is going to start on the Baby room as soon as possible I am sure. I am so proud of her through all of this, she has really done a great job so far.
