my sweet little princess , Sarah Kathryn, loves to wear her tutu around the house! She twirls around and around and pretends that long spoons are her 'magic wands'. She is such a girly girl! She loves to play dress up and put on all my long necklaces and bangle bracelets...
We dont call her " pretty " for nothing! :)

To each his own...
I recently went one of those " all nighter' scrapbooking parties at our church...
Funny thing about this is: I. DONT. SCRAPBOOK.
BUT: i really needed the fellowship and ..plus.. the free food was a bonus too :)
All my dear friends seem to LOVE it... I dont. Well, its not that i dont, or couldnt enjoy it.. i just dont have the time or money for it. I mean, to afford all the paper, books, pens, vellum, little die cutters, special scissors, trimmers, shape cutters , embossing press.... etc..etc. ..etc.. i would have to take out a loan or sell a body part on the black market! And frankly people, i have got enough 'crafting' in my life to last decades....
you KNOW that is true,.. i dont have the room for one more crafting hobby..! The paints and fabrics are already on their way to take over my parents house as i type.
So while all of my born organized friends rolled their tidy little suitcases and photo organizers and platic totes and folders in.... all alphabetized, dated, and color coded...,
I stumbled in w/ an old nike shoebox w/ a few dozen or so pictures that were, lets say , far less than organized, one sharpie, and a smile. (I had at least gone by the CvS on the way and bought a slide in photo album.. and was ready to 'scrapbook" with the best of them. :)
Of course, i was 'done' in 10min.. for all I had to do was..slide the pics in. I hardly could sort them by appropriate dates..
And while i drooled over all of my darling friends' sweet , thoughtful ..perfectly scrapbooked albums... i became jealous.. I WANT TO SCRAPBOOK.. i want all the little stickers and dif. sciccors and tons of beautiful paper..!
THANKFULLY though, my friends stopped teasing me for not giving in to the pull, to remind me that while i dont scrapbook like them....
I BLOG!!!!
a ha!! THIS ... IS my scrapbooking! See.. i KNEW i could do it.. ! And all without spending a dime.. ;)

Things have been going ok with working out and eating right and such.. although, every month seems to throw me some kind of holiday that centers around eating.. and eating and eating..
BUT:
I DID see a small victory on the scales recently(HOORAH!).. ..be it small.. its just enough to keep my head up and keep pressing towards my goal and on to the torture chamber.. oh- i mean.. the GYM.. jk.. its really not that bad. In fact..i may even be learning to 'enjoy' it???? Hey, its time to myself..and thats something i really value these days. :)
And I do have to give a shout out to my lovie, Clay, and my parents and to clay's parents, bc they have been such a help to watch SK for me at times so that i can get to the gym for a bit. I dont get to go as often as i should , or would like, but I get there when i can bc of these folks.. so THANKS!
