This is what my trips to the store look like these days..haha..! ( i keep Kayne on Mon, wed. and fri. ...and every now and then i get brave and take them both on a little outing.. I dont know how people do it.! 2 kids under 2 years..

These next few pics were taken when a few of our close friends (and their babies ) got together for a cookout. Funny part of the story is.... we planned it bc a few of us gals had a strong hankering that our sweet friend Tierney Quick was preggers .! (she had been strangly avoiding us, eating lots of fruit, going to the doc. , and we noticed a lil baby bump sprouting in her sunday dress :) Her hubby , Josh , works out of town and we figured she was waiting for him to get home to announce the big news... So we decided, being the nosey and loving pals that we are , to just go ahead and plan a big get together, where we would all be present...so they would hurry up and spill the beans already!. so all night , we are just waiting and waiting...finally we all start to gather our things to go, and us gals are looking at each other with the face of defeat and disapointment. And then.... Josh calls everyone to attention... our Faces about exploded with excitment and smiles.. the announcement finally came:

SK helped Charlie Griffin celebrate his 1st birthday at his party. She had a wonderful time playing and eating lots of party food! and of course , Charlie was a handsome lil birthday boy!

Ladies night out

It's true!

It was that time again... Our church's ladies' minestry hosts a "ladies night out" dinner twice a year... And somehow i keep gettting signed up to decorate a table :) No really, i love to be involved. Its so neat to see how each and every table is so different and so creative. This years theme was " what's in your purse" ... So of course..we all know what's in most good little southern belle's purses : PINK LIPSTICK.!

Birthdays at the Beau

Clay and I, and our friends , Justin and Candice, took a much needed trip w/out babies to the coast to celebrate mine and candice's birthday (our b-days are just a day apart). We stayed at the Beau Rivage and had a great time just dining ,dancing, and dallying the weekend away. We also took a much anticipated visit to Cafe New Orleans...the AMAZING resturaunt that clay's brother, jason just opened. If you are ever in the Ocean Springs area, you MUST go there! Call me.. i'll give you directions...wait..no, call clay, and HE will give you directions..haha. Anywho, it was a fabulous weekend! and i would have taken more pictures...but my batteries went dead as soon as we got there and of course i didnt get more.
