the latest new adventure

So.. my latest craft to try my hand at... Reupholstery(dont think i spelled that right, oh well) and making baby bedding. This was for my sweet pal, Candace Johnson,(some of you may know her as Pootie:) . She just welcomed her baby girl #2, Karlie, into the world this month. Precious bedding for a precious lil baby. I think it turned out pretty good for my first attempt.. Oh! and i made curtains too, but dont have a pic of that yet.

yes... we are STILL taking baths in the sink. She has decided that she is 'scared" of the big tub...ok, whatever. she is going to have to face her fears soon ...bc she is about to max out that sink:)

Birthday Girls

My Mom and I celebrated our birthdays recently...yep, its on the SAME DAY:) March 18th.

We had a nice little, just family, 'party' at home... complete with my favorite ... ICE CREAM cake from DQ. YYYYUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMM!

SK def. thought it was her birthday and that the cake was for her... lol.

Waking up daddy

Because Clay works nights, he sleeps everyday untill about 3pm.. and that is about the time SK goes upstairs for her nap. She loves to go "wake up daddy" on her way to a nap.. they cuddle and watch tv in bed for a while together while she winds down for her nap. They are two peas in a pod.:)
