Weekend at a cabin in Blackhawk , MS.

SK thought Kye was her live baby doll.. she loves to 'mother' him... and kept trying to feed him.. everytime i would turn around she would be trying to feed him a sandwich or a cookie!

did i mention the AIR CONDITIONING went out in the truck on the way down there.. 2 hour trip... Candice and I shoved between 2 huge carseats in the backseat of a truck.. sweating like prostitutes in church... We are smiling to keep from crying. ..

We took a weekend trip w/ friends and all the kiddos to a cabin in Blackhawk , MS... i had NO idea where that was.. and i know why now.. Lol . We had a blast... but WHEW it was HOOOOTTTT and with no pool.. and not much to do except fish and be sweaty, we found ourselves taking over the kiddie pools. And let me say,,, i have never seen so many knats in my life.. its like the knat plague there! It wasnt my kind of place.. but i managed to have a great time:) Ya'll know ive never been much on outdoorsy type activities. The kids had a great time too.. they didnt seem to notice the bugs, dirt , and breathtaking heat.

oh- and did i mention.. there was NO cell phone service.. GASP. i was going through blackberry withdrawals the first 24 hrs.. but then i realized it was kinda NICE not being able to be reached by email , yahoo messenger, text, or call. Imagine... that must have been what it felt like to live in the dark ages.. you know- the 80's / early 90's... ha ha.
