I wanted to get him something he could take to deer camp...and our friend Josh helped me out BIG TIME and arranged to get this old 3 wheeler fixed up and running good, and repainted nice and purdy, with... of course, OLE MISS colors :)

Whew! its been a crazy last 2 weeks.. I havent been able to get any new pics up bc I got that ol' stomach virus that's been going around.. then clay got it... then Sk got it.. :(
So between us all tryin to get well, and me trying to get ready for Richland Day ( im having a booth again this year).. i havent had much time to blog. Hopefully after this weekend i will have time to post more pics! Im really excited about this weekend because on Fri. night, we are taking SK to see ELMO Live ! SHe LOVES elmo.. she thinks they are best friends. SO i cant wait to see her face light up! And Sat. is Richland Day... im hoping to make some money, and spread the word about my lil business i have going. :) Saturday night, Clay and I are going to a costume party ! yay! Im going as a bee.. and i wanted clay to go as a bee keeper.. but you know him, he didnt wanted to go along w/ the whole 'theme' idea. SO... now that he has procrastinated.. we really arent sure what he is going as.. So far he just has this really weird creepy mask to wear. oh well, i TRIED to help him, but he wants to do his own thing so.. whatever. : )I'll be cute, and he will look a mess. lol.

~~New Hair Color~

I finally did it.. i dyed my hair back darker.. It was time to give my poor hair a break from all the bleach ;). I love the change, although i have to say.. i do think i like being a blonde better. So this new darker 'do may not last long.. but it will be fun to try out for a while. Its been a week since i had it done, and i still scare myself when i walk by a mirror.

STATE FAIR - 2008~

~ STATE FAIR TIME ~

Jolie and SK... so sweet

Clay, myself, Sarah Kathryn, Candace, Ron, and Jolie spent an afternoon at the MS state Fair. It was SK's and Jolies first time at the fair , and of course, they loved it. Sarah Kathryn loved looking at all the prizes and would shout out. "oooohhh! look...! BEAR! " when she would see a really big stuffed animal>( its a good thing she hasnt learned to actually WANT those awful things ..) I swore to everyone i would NOT be taking her to the Fair and wasting our money there until she was old enough to ask to go. Which i was hoping she wouldnt realize there was even such a thing as the fair: at least untill she went to school and heard it from the kids there. But ,hey... if i have to spend a couple of extra dollars on overpriced food/rides for a smile and giggle from her and good ol' quality family time... i'd spend it all.:) Worth every penny. AND I definately wasnt complaining about that Chicken on a Stick...or the ice cream... or the funnel cake. or the lemonade..yum!.. Oops. There goes my diet. AGAIN. :)
