For the walls, we chose a robins egg light blue. We took the old light fixture down and i spray painted an old brass chandelier that i found in my parents attic with flat white paint, covered the plasic tubes w/ scrapbook paper.. and cut out bird sillhuettes from paper and hung them from the chandelier with fishing line. I made a chain cover out of the fabric I'm going to be using for the curtains. The bed and the little pink table were both craigslist fnds:) The dollhouse shelf was a Dirt Cheap(hudsons') purchase...and boy was that thing a PILL to put toether. The pink tree i found at a garage sale in Indiana before she was born, and the chest of drawers were bought at the Goodwill in Indiana as well. The framed artwork is made from free printouts i found online and i spray painted some thrift store frames ligh pink. I did 'splurge ' a little on the light switch plate covers ( from Hobby LObby) .But they were too cute to pass on. I searched and searched online for just the right bedding... you know the saying, 'you just wont knowit , until you see it" . Target.com ... and the heavens opened and the birds sang (lol ) when i spied this lil birdie bedding. LOVE IT!. oh- and the tissue paper flowers hanging from the ceiling were a martha stewart kit i had been eyeing for months at Michaels... and wouldnt you know, they clearanced them out Just in time for her new room: makeover.)
